Epping Forest Community Transport
EFCT has provided a specialist transport service since 1997 that meets the needs of local people who for various reasons are unable to use conventional public transport.

EFCT Membership charges per annum 2024-25 - Per Passenger: £15
Travel types and costs 2024-25:
Social Car Scheme – £4.95 up to 3 miles and 75p per mile thereafter, for each journey.
Dial-A-Ride - £4.95 up to 3 miles and 75p per mile thereafter, for each journey.
Shopper Bus Services – £4.60 one way or £6.70 return trip, £2.20 child fare, return £3.40, concessionary passes will continue to be accepted on Shopper Bus Services.
Please note Westbury Road is a one-way street with entry from Palmerston Road.
Parking
There are up to 12 car parking places on site, which operate on a first come first served basis. There are currently 16 parking places free to use in bays with 2-hour parking in Westbury Road. The adjacent streets are busy but have some 2-hour parking places which are free to use.
Parking restrictions are in operation in adjacent streets so please read signage carefully. Westbury Road currently has parking restrictions between 1-2pm.
• Amberley Road is a Permit Parking Area Monday to Friday 11:00 to 14:00. • Scotland Road is a Permit Parking Area Monday to Friday 11:00 to 16:00
Public Transport
Buckhurst Hill tube station is an 8 minute walk away and runs the Central Line.
Russel Road bus stop is an 8 minute walk away for the 20 and 397 buses. The 549 stops at Westbury Road bus stop at the top of our road, however, plan ahead to catch this bus as it only comes once an hour.
