THURSDAYS 13:30-15:30

Drawing is an essential process that opens up pathways to new ways of thinking and seeing: an active process that engages our mind and senses, urging us to analyse, synthesize, and interpret visual information. It helps deepen our observational skills and enriches our understanding of the world around us, enhancing our visual memory and analytical abilities.

Through this course, we will delve into drawing as an expansion of thinking and explore various ways of seeing. Using a variety of prompts, subjects, themes, and materials, we’ll discover the intricate connections between the things that surround us and those that reside within us. Open to all skill levels, the course will guide you through drawing as a pathway to a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you.

In this journey, you will learn how our individual perceptions and expressions are interwoven with the collective experience and the visible and invisible aspects of the world that surround us.

Sara Svati is an Italian-born, London-based artist working across theatre, performance, and visual arts. She is the founder and director of Orientale Sarda, a performing arts company that seamlessly blends traditional and contemporary artistic visions.
